Product details that sell

Updated July 4, 2026

Two menus with identical food don't sell identically — photos and framing do real work. Every product gives you these levers:

  • Photos — upload as many as you like; the most recently uploaded one becomes the hero image shown on the menu. To swap the hero, upload the shot you want (the newest upload takes the hero spot), or delete the current hero and the next photo steps up automatically.
  • Badges — a preset label on the menu card: Best Seller, New, Popular, Chef's Pick, Seasonal, and more. One badge, used honestly, outperforms five used everywhere.
  • Descriptions — a short line for the menu card and a fuller description for the product page.
  • Featured — flag your signature items so featured surfaces (like your website's highlights) know what to show.

Note: Products also carry their own SEO fields (meta title, meta description, keywords) — worth filling in for your signature dishes, since product pages are indexable pages on your site.
