Timesheets and the time clock
Updated July 4, 2026
Hours start at the tablet: staff clock in and out with their personal PIN on the kitchen tablet's time clock, and those punches become the Timesheets tab's records in Labor.
- No separate hardware — the same tablet that runs your tickets runs the time clock.
- PINs make punches personal — each clock-in is tied to the employee whose PIN it is, not a shared button anyone can hit.
- Timesheets feed your labor picture — worked hours next to hourly rates is what turns the schedule from a plan into a cost you can compare against.
Note: Pair this with the clocked-in requirement on the kitchen display and the loop closes: nobody works tickets off the clock. See Staff PINs and the time clock.
