Connect your own domain

If you own a domain like yourrestaurant.com, you can serve your KitchenRush website from it. You'll add a DNS record at your domain registrar — a CNAME, plus a verification TXT record if the setup screen shows one; SSL (the padlock) is provisioned automatically.
Connect it
- In the dashboard, open Settings and find the custom domain area.
- Enter your domain name and connect it. KitchenRush will show you the DNS record to add.
- At your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, wherever you bought the domain), add a CNAME record pointing your domain to customers.kitchenrush.app.
- Come back and watch the status — once the record is found, ownership is verified and SSL is issued automatically. Your site is then live on your domain.
Note: Connecting a root domain (yourrestaurant.com without the www)? Some registrars don't allow a CNAME there — use their ALIAS, ANAME, or CNAME-flattening record type pointed at the same target. If the domain screen also shows a TXT record, add it too — it's an extra ownership check, not a replacement for the CNAME.
DNS changes can take a little while to propagate depending on your registrar. Your kitchenrush.app subdomain keeps working the whole time, so there's no downtime while you switch.
