Cash rules and caps

Updated July 4, 2026

Cash is two independent switches — one for pickup, one for delivery — and both start off, so your storefront is card-only until you decide otherwise.

  • Accept cash on pickup — customers can order online and pay at the counter.
  • Accept cash on delivery — the driver collects; only enable this if your drivers are set up to carry change.
  • Maximum cash order — a per-order cap for each. Anything above the cap must prepay by card, which is your protection against a giant unpaid order that never gets collected. Leave it empty for no cap.

Note: The caps govern online orders only — at the register you can always take cash for any amount, since the customer is standing in front of you.
